Biblical Studies from Crowley's Ridge College is a Campus Bachelor Religious Studies degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. The Bachelor in Biblical Studies degree is designed to equip students for full-time Christian ministry, such as preaching, teaching, and evangelizing, and to prepare them for graduate work in biblical and related areas. Students must have completed the Associate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies or its equivalent to be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degree program. A written application must be submitted to the chairman of the Bible Department prior to registering for a full course load in upper level work, but not before a student has completed at least 45 hours of the Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies degree. A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on all general education courses must be maintained. A cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on all Bible-related course work must also be maintained. Only grades of 'C' or above will be accepted for Bible-related courses in the Biblical Studies degree . Students must complete a minimum of 30 hours of their upper level work at Crowley's Ridge College , at least 15 of which must be completed after the semester in which the student has earned a cumulative total of at least 96 semester hours. Candidates for the Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degree must participate in graduation exercises. Enhancement Activities There are four enhancement activities required of all Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degree candidates: Freed-Hardeman University Lectureship, World Mission Workshop, Minister's Workshop, and the Crowley's Ridge College Lectureship.
