Courses for the required 25 nursing credits in the one-year LPN-RN curriculum, offered on the Southeast Technical Institute campus in Sioux Falls, are designed for licensed practical nurses (LPNs) to enhance knowledge of human health needs and nursing interventions while developing management of care skills needed by the registered nurse (RN) in the current health setting. Upon successful completion of the program and upon full payment of all money due to the university, the graduate will receive the associate of arts degree and will have satisfied the academic requirements necessary for eligibility to take the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX) for licensure as an RN.
