Students learn technical and analytical skills for research as well as practical skills necessary to enter the job market and obtain positions with such titles as GIS technician, GIS specialist, GAS analyst, GIS programmer, GIS coordinator, GIS supervisor and GIS manager. To earn a degree, students must complete each course used to meet a major requirement with a "C" grade or better.
