Students participating in a dual-degree program may pursue a degree in chemical, electrical, mechanical, civil, and computer engineering and will earn a Bachelor of Science from Dillard University in chemistry, computer science, or physics and a Bachelor's degree in the specific field of engineering from the host institution. Mission The Department of Physics/Pre-Engineering seeks to prepare the students to enter professional practice as a physicist in the areas of research, development, production, sales, consulting, and management or to enter graduate or professional programs leading to advanced graduate degrees in physics, chemical physics, medical physics, and engineering.
