With this major, you'll learn all the elements of pre-production, production and post-production. You'll learn how to conceptualize an idea, write a script, set-up the lighting, record the audio, shoot the footage, worki with talent, and, of course, complete the editing. Dordt is on the cutting edge of technology with its brand new Avid lab. Avid is the industry standard for cutting film and video. Ninety percent of what you watch on TV and in the theatres is cut on Avid.
