CBB seeks students who have an interest and aptitude in the computational and biological sciences. Students are expected to become proficient in one of the core quantitative areas as well as the subdiscipline in biology on which their dissertation is based. The combination of entrance prerequisites, program core courses and a broad variety of elective courses is designed to assure that students have the necessary background to become successful researchers in the field of computational biology.
