Upon completion of the Shampoo Course, the student will be able to understand all the technical information of the above skills as evidenced by a grade of 70% or more on an exam given by the school before graduation. 3. At the end of the Shampoo Course, the successful performance on the state licensing exam, and receipt of a license, the student will be qualified to obtain a position as Shampoo Specialist in a beauty salon. A Shampoo Specialist license authorizes the holder to practice the art of shampooing, application of conditioners and rinses, scalp treatments, scalp manipulations, and shampooing hair goods in a licensed establishment.
