General Science Concentration The general science concentration provides students with the flexibility to major in the sciences without the necessity of specializing in a specific field of science . Students pursuing a major in education and those considering certain professional programs may wish to pursue the baccalaureate degree program in general science. Students in transition between majors (such as pre-MSN students), and students who are considering a health-related or science major, but are not in a specific program, may pursue the associate degree program in general science.
