Within the Television and Digital Media Production (TDMP) program, students acquire skills in film , audio, and video production, interactive media production and authoring, instructional design, editing, script writing, and graphics. All these skills are built on a foundation of planning, scripting, directing, and producing television and video programs. Almost all of the program's classes are hands-on. DVD-R, CD-ROM, digital videotape, and a variety of other media are available to TDMP students. The curriculum is constantly being scrutinized to assure that it remains current with the industries where our graduates are employed. After completing the necessary requirements, the student will further perfect their skills in a 6-month internship off campus. This internship will take place at a production facility or station typically in Michigan or Chicago. This exciting class allows the student to gain experience in a real-world setting working full-time with industry professionals.
