Elementary Education from Florida College is a Campus Bachelor Elementary Education degree that prepares you for a Education career. Florida College offers a four-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education . This program is for students who aspire to become professional educators in public or private schools or who wish to better prepare themselves to be effective teachers in Bible classes or at home. The Education Department of Florida College teaches those necessary academic and professional skills which develop professional teachers, while instilling a firm faith in the God of the Bible and in Jesus Christ, His Son. We believe the best teachers possess this faith and practice spiritual values. The degree program leads to certification for teaching grades kindergarten through 6, including an ESOL endorsement certifying that graduates have special training to teach students for whom English is a second language. In October 2003, a committee from the Florida Board of Education recommended the Florida College Elementary Education program for state certification. That program certification will facilitate the process by which FC graduates are certified to teach in Florida and will simplify the certification process for graduates who intend to teach in other states. Elementary school teachers have an opportunity to influence many young lives. Florida College , as it trains teachers, has an opportunity to extend its unique influence far beyond the boundaries of the campus. View more details on Florida College .
