In addition to 33 credit hours of coursework in psychology , you will also be required to take courses in Anatomy and Physiology (6 credit hours), Finite Math (3 credit hours), and 6 credit hours of an intermediate foreign language. In your fourth year of study, in addition to completing a senior thesis or senior seminar, you will need to complete 150 practicum hours by doing an internship in a research or clinical setting. Required courses for all psychology majors include: Principles of Psychology I and II; Experimental Psychology I and II; Personality; History and Systems; Abnormal Psychology; Statistics; Psychological Tests; and two psychology electives. For additional elective hours, you'll be able to choose from classes such as: Adolescent Psychology; Psychology of Human Development; Human and Spiritual Integration; Group Dynamics; and many more. By the time you graduate, you will better understand both yourself and the people who cross your path each day. You will have a greater appreciation for the mystery and dignity of the human person.
