Sociology thus offers that crucial sense of options and choice that is essential to human freedom. Majors and minors in sociology may develop specializations in anthropology, criminal justice, human services, human geography, civil service and applied sociology. Many Sociology majors continue their education in graduate schools of Social Work or Sociology.
