Business Technology from Gibson Technical Center is a Campus Certificate Management degree that prepares you for a Business career. The Business Technology program is divided into Business Technology I and II. Basic business related skills are developed in the first year and then students may explore the development of specialized skills their second year. Business Technology is a one or two-year course designed to provide a background of varied experiences and skills to prepare the student for entry into the work force, entrance into a community college, or entrance into a four year institution. Through the media of "individualized instruction," students learn to work and think independently without constant supervision while still receiving sufficient guidance in their lessons. The student gains employability skills as well as technical skills. The classroom is furnished with an IBM computer on each desk. The computers are networked to a host machine in the instructor's office .
