Intercultural Studies and World Missions from Gods Bible School and College is a Campus Bachelor Religious Studies degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. The Intercultural Studies and World Missions program leads to a bachelor of arts degree which shall be granted upon completion of 30 hours of professional studies, 43 hours of general education, 37 hours of biblical studies , and an 18-hour cognate to complete a total of 128 hours. The cognate may be selected from one of the following areas: Nursing, Teacher Education, Preaching/Pastoral, Children's Ministry, Office Administration, and General Business. Other cognates may be selected if approved by the Divisional Chair. The cognate is intended to help the student develop skills that may be used on the mission field. Upon completion of the requirements for this degree program, the student will be able to do the following: Articulate the biblical foundation for the Christian World Mission; Be inspired and instructed through the study of mission history from Pentecost to present; Demonstrate a knowledge of the major world religions and the uniqueness of the Christian faith; Communicate the Gospel effectively in a cross-cultural setting; Understand what skills are necessary to become an effective missionary; Develop at least one professional skill that can be used in missionary work.
