Applicants to the bachelor of health science-cardiovascular technology must have completed the associate of science in cardiovascular technology from a CAAHEP accredited program with a grade point average of 2.0 in all CVT courses and have achieved either the RCS or the RDCS credentials in cardiac ultrasound or the RCIS in invasive cardiovascular technology . Graduates from CAAHEP accredited diploma schools must have achieved either the RCIS or RDCS credential for the AS CVT credits. The general education and science components required for the AS in CVT must also be completed with a minimum grade point of 2.0 in all the science courses.
