Health Policy from Harvard University is a Campus Certificate Public Health degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. Students eligible for the Certificate must complete sufficient coursework and a senior thesis or equivalent in health policy. The goal of the Certificate is to recognize a coherent body of work by students with an interest in the field. At the heart of the Certificate Program are courses that illuminate different aspects of health policy. The Interfaculty Initiative in Health Policy (IIHP) recommends that students interested in pursuing health policy concentrate in an existing discipline offered by the University. The Certificate Program is a supplement to the existing concentrations. It does not replace any existing concentrations or any requirements of existing concentrations, though in some cases certain courses may count both for concentration or core credit and towards the Certificate . If a student has a particular academic interest that is not met within a traditional concentration augmented by these courses, that student may apply for a special concentration.
