Transfer Information The need for teachers at both the elementary and secondary level is expected to increase significantly in the next five years, both nationally and across New York State. Graduates of the two-year Art Studies program transfer to such four-year institutions as SUC at Oswego, SUC at New Paltz, SUC at Buffalo, Daemen College and Chester College of New England to complete the training necessary to become certified art teachers. Those students who wish to pursue the Creative Arts Therapy concentration transfer to such four-year institutions as SUC at Brockport, Russell Sage and Utica College.
