Program Description The curriculum is designed to prepare elementary education professionals from diverse backgrounds with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to promote student learning and development, especially in urban schools. Building on quality field experiences, the program develops reflective practitioners who model lifelong learning, technological competence, and professionalism. The core teacher education program prepares students for teaching grades K?6.
