Upon completion of the Master of Education?School Counseling Program, the student may qualify for the Professional License by completion of 18 hours of additional graduate courses as specified in the Post-Master, Non-Degree Certification?School Counseling Program. Admission Requirements Admission and retention are based upon appropriateness of educational and career goals, available positions in the program, interpersonal skills and sensitivity, communication ability, and academic potential and performance. Meeting minimum standards alone does not guarantee either admission or retention. Each applicant must satisfy the general criteria for admission to the College of Graduate and Professional Studies and two of the following requirements: 1. Have an undergraduate grade point average of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 point scale. 2. Have scores on the General Tests of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT). 3.
