The 48 credit-hour Master of Arts with a major in Counseling and specialization in Addictions Counseling helps prepare students to meet credential requirements. The program adheres to current evidence-based practice, integrating a Christian worldview with a behavioral and social sciences orientation. The specialization is approved by the Indiana Association for Addiction Professionals (IAAP) and the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC). Graduates are academically qualified to become Master Addictions Counselors through NAADAC. Student membership and Addiction Professional in Training certification are available through NAADAC and IAAP.
