OVERVIEW The ISU Department of Architecture offers the professional Bachelor of Architecture degree , accredited by the National Architectural Accreditation Board (NAAB). This degree consists of one year in the collegiate pre-professional Core Design Program, followed by four years in the professional Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree program. Any student offered admission to Iowa State University is eligible to enroll in the Core Design Program and, after successful completion (30.5 hours), may apply to the professional B.Arch program (134 hours).
