Career Information: This program is designed for students intending to transfer to a four-year institution upon completion of this two-year degree, but many graduates enter the workforce immediately upon graduation. Students can take the skills learned in the Technical Music program at Iowa Western and apply them to music education or lead their own musical group through notating arrangements, sequencing music for ensembles and soloists, operating a mixing console, or even becoming a professional musician.
