Nursing from Jefferson College of Health Sciences is a Campus Master Nursing Science degree that prepares you for a Nursing career. Is the Time Right? If this is the right time for you to get your Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree , Jefferson College of Health Science (JCHS) is the right place for you. JCHS offers two MSN degree programs: one in Nursing Systems Management and one in the Nurse Clinician Educator specialty. Both programs of study were planned for the working professional nurse. Courses are offered through a combination of online instruction coupled with didactic classroom instruction. Students come on campus for orientation and only two to four times during each course. Courses in the MSN programs are taught by faculty members who have real world nursing experiences. Many maintain certification in their areas of expertise, hold joint appointments in healthcare systems or are doing research in healthcare. These same faulty members are available as teachers and advisors to you as you move through your program of study at JCHS. We deliberately keep our class sizes small so graduate faculty can take a personal interest in students. Full-time students can complete the program in two years of intense study. Part-time study is available. Registered nurses are admitted to the program with a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program. Registered nurses with a bachelor's degree in another field can be admitted to the MSN program. Generally, students without a BSN will only need to take 2 ? 3 leveling courses. These courses can be taken in the summer prior to the start of fall classes. Some are offered online. View more details on Jefferson College of Health Sciences .
