Because the advisor/graduate relationship is the key to a successful PhD experience, all new PhD candidates are carefully matched with faculty advisors based on mutual research interests. In addition, an active PhD Committee of three is created for each PhD student to give cogent advice throughout your degree program. The Graduate Program Chair is responsible for assuring each PhD student is progressing through the program. Our PhD students often remain in academia and research, however there is a growing need for our PhD's in the private sector as well.
