Program Overview The Master of Science in management degree is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in a wide range of organizational environments. Students actively examine critical issues within their organization and work toward developing more effective processes, protocols and standards. The program emphasizes the knowledge, skills, methods and experiences needed for the application of theory into management practice. Classroom learning is readily applied on the job--students use sophisticated critical thinking skills and a cross-disciplinary approach to problem solving. The program culminates with an Action Research Project (ARP) that challenges students to choose and analyze a workplace issue and work toward developing and implementing solutions to that issue. The ARP helps facilitate the project management process and builds value for employers. The program is designed to meet the needs of busy, working students to maintain balance while pursuing their educational goals.
