Program Description This program takes a first-hand look at the fast-paced and exciting careers in the hospitality industry. Students in this program will receive academic instruction and work experience that reflects industry standards for jobs within the hospitality, event planning, tourism and the hotel and lodging industry, and gain work experience at a local lodging property. Students in this program will learn an overview of lodging management , leadership and management skills, reservations, front desk, housekeeping, marketing and sales, event coordination, and food and beverage service. When students graduate, they will be ready to begin their hospitality career or continue their education at a college or university.
