Apply the nursing process according to the Neuman Systems Model to promote an optimal level of wellness through the use of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention/intervention strategies for individuals, families and communities; 2. Synthesize nursing theory with knowledge from selected other disciplines as a basis for care giving, communication, therapeutic interventions, and critical thinking; 3. Use appropriate problem-solving approaches in varied settings to promote wellness for diverse client systems; 4. Demonstrate leadership strategies to advance nursing practice and the nursing profession; 5. Utilize nursing research findings to improve the quality of nursing practice; 6. Incorporate established standards of professional nursing as the foundation for own nursing practice; and 7.
