The Recreation, Tourism and Sport Management (RTSM) major focuses on preparing students to enter professional careers by developing, planning and managing leisure, recreation, tourism and sport programs and facilities that enhance the quality of life for participants. Our upper-division courses provide students with the administration, management and organizational skills necessary to assess recreation needs, plan, implement and evaluate recreation experiences, supervise personnel and manage recreation facilities.
