Physical activity is provided through three distinct learning and participation opportunities: lifetime recreational skills; developmental courses, which stress conditioning of the body and maintenance of a specific level of physical condition; and team sport courses, which provide a high level of conditioning and competition. Intercollegiate athletics are offered in men's and women's basketball, men's baseball, and women's volleyball. Student Learning Outcomes Students who successfully complete an Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Exercise and Sports Science will: Develop individual health and fitness programs.
