Education Math Specialty from Lipscomb University is a Campus Master Teaching degree that prepares you for a Education career. To help meet the demand of math educators the College of Education is launching a new M.Ed. with Math Specialty in July 2009. This 32 hour program has 15 hours of M.Ed. core coursework and 17 hours of intense math curriculum that will enable students to sit for the math Praxis II exams. For those interested in an additional endorsement only, the College of Education is offering a 17 hour program for math endorsement that also provides the content background for the math Praxis II exams. The M.Ed. with Math Specialty is designed to meet your scheduling needs. Courses are available at night, on the weekends, online and during the summer months. Students will enter the program with a cohort and will complete the program in 14 months. The first cohort began in July 2009. Lipscomb University is a faith-based learning community which will enrich your graduate experience. This holistic and constructivist approach to learning opens opportunities to discuss important topics, techniques and unique perspectives utilized in school systems.
