The Applied Biology concentration includes greater flexibility in selecting Biological Science and other science elective courses, and is often an appropriate choice for students seeking employment directly following graduation with the B.S. degree. The Biological Sciences concentration is generally recommended for those students planning to seek admission to medical, dental, or certain other health-related programs following graduation. The Biological Sciences concentration is also generally recommended for students interested in pursuing graduate studies in Biology, or other related fields.
