Health from Luther College is a Campus Bachelor Health Administration degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. Luther College has a rich tradition in the health and physical education field. Over the years, many outstanding Luther graduates have served as teachers and coaches at all levels in schools across the nation. Graduates are also engaged in sports psychology, physical therapy, and exercise science. Recognizing the growth of the health and fitness industry, Luther offers strong majors in health and physical education; some students choose to complete both. Majors are designed to be flexible in meeting the needs and special interests of students. The department offers both teaching and non-teaching majors. Students majoring in health education are qualified to teach K-12. In addition to health classes, students complete courses in relevant areas like biology, nursing, education, psychology, and social work. A nonteaching health major prepares students for graduate school in wellness, fitness, or hospital rehabilitation.
