We offer a rigorous program in business along with the benefits of attending a leading liberal arts college with a highly diverse student population in the heart of New York City. Business Schools primarily focus on teaching you technical skills like capital budgeting and marketing management. By way of contrast, we believe that helping students to become life long learners is an equally important part of career preparation, and you will take a variety of liberal arts courses in addition to business and accounting courses. We can do this because our classes are small (most classes have fewer than 25 and most are between 10 and 20) so students get individual attention. Small class size also means that faculty know their students well enough to place them in internships for which they are suited and which suit them. Additionally, we have a culturally, ethnically and geographically diverse student body. A diverse student body means that the team exercises so common to our business classes give students real experience with the challenges of diversity that they will face in the workplace. Add to that the breadth of opportunities for internships in New York City and you have a unique educational opportunity.
