The Office Management College Credit Certificate program is the third in a series of three College Credit Certificate programs designed to prepare students for employment as administrative professionals in legal office, general office or office software applications. The legal office option is designed to prepare students for employment as a legal office manager, legal supervisor, senior legal secretary, legal transcriptionist, litigation secretary, or to provide supplemental training for those previously or currently employed in these fields. The general office option is designed to prepare students for assistant, assistant/ supervisor, executive administrative assistant, junior executive assistant, junior administrative assistant, secretary-administrative assistant, office coordinator, office manager and office supervisor. The office software applications option is designed to prepare students for employment as administrative coordinator, customer service supervisor, software applications specialist, digital publisher, document manager, executive administrative assistant, junior operations analyst, payroll specialist, personal assistant, project administrator/ coordinator, proofreader, or to provide supplemental training for people previously or currently employed in these occupations. The program content for each of the three options emphasizes the skills and competencies needed to perform at management level in these specialization areas.
