Behavioral Studies from Mid - Continent University is a Campus Bachelor Behavioral Sciences degree that prepares you for a Science career. The Department of Behavioral Studies includes a majors in Behavioral Studies (non-counseling track). The major will prepare students for related work in the Social Sciences (teaching, counseling, social work, government, youth ministry and/or pastoring) or for further study in graduate school. Formal admission to the program is normally accomplished by application to the Chair of the Department of Behavioral Studies at the end of the sophomore year; however, entering students may direct their studies as early as their first year in college. You are encouraged to focus on General Education courses during your first two years, while concurrently beginning studies within the major. Freshman/Sophomore courses introduce students to the Bible and the Christian worldview. Junior/Senior courses provide for a more intensive study of the major. A faculty advisor works closely with you to ensure an efficient and productive graduation plan. You can prepare by completing all your secondary school requirements, develop an attitude of learning, and seek God's will for your life as you prepare to study for the ministry either within the church or elsewhere.
