DESCRIPTION: This program prepares students for employment in the Printing and Graphics Communications Industry. Training includes computer electronic pre-press QuarkXpress, Adobe Illustrator, Photo Shop and a basic production operation. Course content also includes safe and efficient work practices, electronic stripping, overview of setup, operation and maintenance of printing , binding and finishing equipment. Also included are communication and leadership skills, mathematical skills, human relations and employability skills, and safe and efficient work practices.
