Graduates with the Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling includes the coursework and practicum and internship experiences needed for graduates to be eligible for taking the National Counseling Exam (NCE), the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) and the Examination of Clinical Counseling Practice (ECCP), exams used by a number of state counselor licensure boards across the United States as part of the licensing process for the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
