Using the latest construction methods, and under close supervision, they construct a residence inside the MTI building lab where the weather is always nice. During the second year of the program, students working in teams build a house in the Mitchell community. As they work on the on-site home, they learn about concrete, constructing the foundation and rough-finishing a basement. A garage is added and a home is completed, ready for a Mitchell family. Program Outcomes At the conclusion of this program, graduates will be able to: 1. Demonstrate skill and proficiency in computer-aided drafting and design 2.
