Purpose The College has made every effort to design curricula to meet the needs of students and the community. Some transfer students who desire to complete two years of work at the College cannot commit themselves to a specific curriculum. For students in this category, the College will award an Associate of Science in Liberal Studies degree after completion of 60 semester credits with a 2.0 grade point average or higher. It is important that transfer students working toward this degree consult with their academic advisor and/or counselor when planning a course schedule. Students who wish to transfer after graduation from this program must plan course selection carefully so that maximum transferability of credits occurs. Counselors are available to help concerning transfer issues. The Liberal Studies program is designed to offer sufficient flexibility so that students who enter college with uncertain goals may take courses which are accepted in transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
