The program will provide students with a solid understanding of the video game industry through courses from both the multimedia and the software engineering curriculums and from specific game development courses. An important component of the curriculum is building a portfolio that will include the games designed and developed by students. Graduates the Game Development and Simulation Programming Technology will be eligible for entry-level positions such as junior game designer, quality assurance engineer, and junior programmer. Students can earn their Associate?s Degree in Game Development and Simulation Programming Technology in as little as 18 months, days or evenings.
