CURRICULUM OF STUDY The New Hampshire Institute of Art Interior Design Program introduces students to the history, aesthetics, methods, materials, and business of interior design. A series of required and elective studio and lecture courses provides a solid foundation for students interested in applying interior design concepts. A prerequisite of Beginning Drawing must be met and may be completed concurrently with Introduction to Interior Design. A prerequisite may be waived with proof of previous experience. The three-year program is sequentially designed. Students must complete the program within five years from the date of enrollment. Each year consists of three semesters: Fall and spring semesters provide 15-week requirements and shorter electives while the summer semester provides a selection of electives.
