The School of Architecture?s undergraduate curriculum links together the professional training necessary for a career in the field, but also the creative problem-solving and liberal arts preparation that is critical for navigating the challenges of today?s world. The undergraduate program includes required co-op and study-abroad semesters, and students are also welcome to participate in all College of Arts, Media and Design opportunities, including the Honors Program. B.S. Architecture Degree Northeastern University offers a four year, Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, that takes five years to complete because our students take two six-month periods off from the academic portion of their education to particpate in paid, full-time employment in architecture . This B.S. degree is not sufficient by itself to meet the academic requirement to sit for State licensure. For that, students need to complete Northeastern\\\'s one-year NAAB accredited Master of Architecture degree that is open to our B.S. graduates in good standing.
