Completion of the Police Academy (LWE courses) must occur within two semesters, beginning fall semester and completed the following spring semester. A minimum grade of 2.0 must be achieved in each LWE course, satisfying prerequisites for licensing and qualifying the student to take the state examination to be hired by a law enforcement agency, which activates the license.
