This certificate program is designed to qualify students for occupations and careers in concrete construction management, concrete estimation, concrete scheduling, quality control, assistant concrete inspector, application techniques, and many other related skilled and semi-skilled positions. Upon completion of the Introduction to Concrete Technology, Concrete Paving and Flatwork Construction courses, students will be prepared to sit for the State of Michigan Concrete Testing Technician Level I certification exam. When the Quality Control/Testing Concrete Technology course is completed, students will be prepared to for the State of Michigan Concrete Testing Technician Level II certification exam. Students will then have the option to continue their studies at O CC in Construction Management through the associate degree, certificate or certificate of achievement programs.
