Career Opportunities The Department of Nursing offers two baccalaureate degree options: a generic (four-year BS) option that prepares students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing (NCLEX-RN); and a two-year non-generic option (RN-BS) that provides registered nurses prepared at the associate degree level an opportunity to obtain a bachelors degree in nursing .
