Students study painting and drawing in three light-filled lofts, printmakers enjoy access to valuable vintage lithography stones alongside digital printmaking technologies, and sculpture students extend their work from indoors to out in the Hodgetts and Fung architect-designed loft studio , gallery, welding and woodshops. The widely-exhibiting studio faculty regularly integrate the Los Angeles museum and gallery offerings into the course curriculum. Studio art majors intern at the city?s premier contemporary art institutions, including MoCA, the RedCat Gallery, Outpost for Contemporary Art and LACMA.
