The biology major prepares students for careers in the practice or teaching of the life sciences, for graduate study, or for entering professional schools in dentistry, medicine, and veterinary medicine. The biology curriculum may be enriched by research (BIOL 412) either on or off campus, and by the marine courses offered during the summer session at the Rosario Beach Marine Station in Washington.
