Program Description This program is designed to train the student for a career in aviation management. There are two options that the student can choose from: Operations or Maintenance. The Maintenance Option is designed to allow the individual who currently holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P) to pursue a two-year degree that will provide management skills and knowledge for advancement within the aviation maintenance industry. Students pursuing the Maintenance Track must possess an A&P license prior to being admitted into this program. The Operations Option is designed to prepare the student to become proficient in planning, organizing, directing and controlling an aviation-related business. This course of study includes the following topics: the organizational and human aspects of business management, application of the principles of business, economic resource management and decision making.
