Demonstrate a high standard of professional ethics and be cognizant of social concerns as they relate to the practice of Engineering Technology . Once they achieve these outcomes, graduates of the MET program will be able to: 1. Demonstrate proficiency in applied design, manufacturing processes and mechanics. 2. Be able to apply concepts of applied mathematics and science in solving technical problems. 4. Demonstrate proficiencies in computer applications. 5. Be able to produce 2D drawings and 3D parametric solid models as a part of the applied engineering design process. 6. Be able to matriculate into a related baccalaureate engineering technology program. 7. Be able to communicate their ideas and solutions effectively both in oral and written form. 8. Be able to demonstrate an ability to work as a professional in a team environment. 9. Be able to recognize the need for life long learning, be prepared to continue their education through formal and informal study, and be able to adapt to a continuously changing work environment. 10. Have the ability to understand professional, ethical, and social responsibilities in a diverse and global workplace. 11.
