Modern Languages from Potomac State College of West Virginia University is a Campus Associate Language degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. Students who have successfully completed two years of a foreign language in high school may enroll in the intermediate courses (i.e. courses numbered 203 and 204) in the same language if they expect to continue with that language. They have the option of taking a Placement Test to obtain retroactive credit. Students who have not taken foreign language, or wish to begin work in a language different from that taken in high school, should enroll in the elementary language courses (i.e. courses numbered 101 and 102). Only Spanish is offered at the College, but students may receive credit for high school courses in another language based on placement scores.
